  If this album is original, then "HATS OFF TO KR" otherwise, ....... .... .. to KR!

  Tunes are okay, but he spoiled the songs with non-tamil singers. Otherwise, the album would have been much better than the current version. I like 'Grahan' more than NINI. May be ARR, Deva and Sirpi fans will like this album. What about the other two songs? how are they? 'nadana kalA rAni' is at no.6 in Indolink's top10. Anything special in that song?

  NINI, as MPR said, is not the Kamal movie, KaKa is!:-))
  
  PDeva also acts in KaKa, with KR as the MD. Therein lies the confusion.

  Thanks a lot for sending NINI songs. Except for the voices and
  undecipherable manner in which the songs are sung, the album is
  pretty good. I can see the desperation of KR to be as different from
  his father as possible. I am enjoying the latino music he has

  Intha Sirpinai ingu pAArthen....song is really good. But the "la..la..la", humming is a direct lift from the tune of "Nothing 's gonna change my love for you...", an all-time English romantic hit.

  yesterday I saw this movie in NJ in a surprisingly house-full theatre. Movie was hilarious than I thought. I liked the music very much. I was not expecting any melodious songs, and I am Ok with weird lyrics, so I liked it. Songs and BGM had lot of latin music flavour, not that I am complaining. KR could have avoided UDIt and other NI singers.
  I can't wait to get this cd.

  Hi Rajan & MPR,
  
  I just got the cassette of NINI. In my opinion
  it is not all that bad. It is a good album in the
  sense that he tried different style and also
  not compromised the IR style or ARR style.
  
  He maintained the rhythm and beats for ARR fans
  and intrigate archestration for IR fans. Please
  notice the usage of base guitar. He has not
  used like this earlier. Though none of the
  melodies are catchy or memorable, they are
  ok. In my opinion it is definitely above the
  average album.
  
  I will recommend to listen NINI few times.
  First time it looks like it is not impressive.
  I will agree that using "Udit NaRayanan" gives
  negative impact.

  U need not worry. He is very careful not to sound
  like ARR as well as IR. Thatis very obvious in
  this album. But ullasam sounded like bit ARR style.
