Visualizing Music in terms of colors...
I read somewhere that music is like a painting.you can visualize different components/moods of the music as colors and on a whole as paintings.This is very abstract to me.can someone explain it with simple examples.
And is there any pre-defined color/music relation.sublime moods are visualized as blue.. etc,etc.
Ok.let me tie the cow before the tajmahal.A simple TFM song example would be great.I was always wondering..."Thendral vaanthu thendum potthu enna vannamoo" from avatharam was made with this concept in mind.Any thoughts on that.

Yes.. thats true. Since my childhood, I used to associate songs and instrumental pieces with different colors. Usually we have a tendency to associate high frequency bell like sounds with something bright and glittering.

Ramarajan paattu or Telugu paattu kaetta Red,Green,Yellow,Pink...ippadi colour colour-a nyabagam varum...the brighter shades esplly!
and there is this song in Bharathi Kannamma which goes 'Pachai Colour Chingu Chaan' etc....enna athisiyamna enna colour sollaraangalo antha colour nyaabagam varum!!
