What maestro , maestro , maestro.......stop it ....its so boring ppl calling IR by that .......There are many maestros...play flute well.....maestro........play sithar well ....maestro........play tabla well ....maestro......sing classical as if thirsty dying man asking for water .......maestro........and we cannot just put IR in that domain...........He actually is much much much more than that ...cannot describe too..Also one more supid thing i see on screen s is Dr Ilayaraja....that is even more boring .....what these ppl........
.....but yeah instead we better use Isaignani which is exclusively for him.......it is not putting limits to his greatness ...unlike 'Maestro'.......'Dr' or wudever .......Huh.....crazy
I think bala is bit sensible who wont like to include IRs name with the list of complete team...instead he starts with "with grand music of maestro ilayaraaja"......but he too can remove that maestro thing and put isaignani ....hee hee

I understand your feelings..! But u can note that no past, contemporary "Film Music Director/Composer" has that distinction of being called a "Maestro" than our Isaignani. This is a coveted title for a person with expertise in his/her domain of art.
I think, only IR has earned such a rare distinction and well, as I think upon your statements, a question arises as to when was IR conferred on with the title "Maestro" and Isaignyani and by whom? Is it the TN govt or any musical academy?
As you know, the Telugu press and media, add the titles "Layaraju, SangeethaBrahma, SangeethaGnyani, MelodyBrahma" to IR's name often.
Recently, Manisharma was attached with MelodyBrahma by the media. I am sure, there must be only one "Brahma" who so ever, at all times. Wonder if any future musicWizKid will earn the same...ha ha haa.....
I also notice that not all cassette labels sport this title beside IR's name. Is this at the will of the producer or the cassette co.?
But of all the titles, "Maestro" is still appealing to me a lot and also "Isaignyani" than any other.
