The legendary singer S P Balasubramaniam seems to have reduced his singing these days. The younger crop of heros are missing something in their songs, without SPB's voice.
The following heroes have been fortunate to have SPB's voice in their films.
R Madhavan - In Ennavalae the song, Chinna Chinna sugangal...
Vijay - In Udhaya the song, Anajanam.. and many more.
R Madhavan - Quite a few songs.
But heroes like Shaam, Surya, Srikanth and the others seem to miss something without SPB.

Srikanth had SPB voice in Kanavukal Pookum in April Maathathil.
Surya had SPB for Mum Paniya in Nandha.

Kanavugal Pookum was a background song, no lip sync.

One cannot expect SPB to sing for his life-time. Obviously aging is a villain for everyone. Of course, MD's prefer to introduce many new singers. Nothing wrong in my opinion and we should welcome instead of feeling bad about "missing SPB these days".
SPB is always great... no doubt, but lets welcome new talents also :-)
