Dear Ragadevan Devotees
I know this will be a little bit difficult to digest. But, it is time to welcome two Singha Kuttigal. ARR and KR. It takes Lion to challenge another Lion. Singhams like MSV and Ragadevan has brought forth more Singhams. Let us salute the Land of Lions for the great contribution to music to this confused world.
One of the worst critics of ARR so far, since my musical standards were so high, is now a well wisher of ARR, after hearing his songs in the movies Minsara Kanavu and Iruvar. What a long jump to such intelligent and mature music. Congratulations. Even Karthik Raja, much younger, has displayed remarkable qualities of a Lion in the filed of music, with his unique songs in GRAHAN and Naam Iruva Namakku Iruvar.
As I have noticed, in today's world of music, all eyes in India are turned towards Chennai where these 3 great composers are constantly surprising everyone with unbelievable compositions that the world has never heard before.
It took a Ragadevan to establish an awesome tradition and inspire such intensity and determination in composers like ARR and KR to take up the challenge to say that music has not ended with Ragadevan, that we can give you hope with more impossible music even after the Great Raja.
Now, I feel that we are going to see even more interesting developments in music in general, as the two whiz kids have shown that music has no beginning and no end.
