Yes, one from super-flop Mahaadev, for Vinod Khanna, the song was a kinda rehash of Velakethu velakethu from Per sollum pillai.

nice thread Jay, there was one oustanding song by IR featuring Suresh Wadkar and Asha Bhosle - was this the same Aye Zindagi??

Its Suresh Wadkar, not Wadekar :). Suresh Wadkar sang two songs in Sadma. One was "aye zindagi gale lagaa le" and the other was "aye hawaa aye fizaa". The latter was a duet with Asha Bhosle.
In Mahadev and Shiva, Suresh Wadkar again recorded two duets each with Asha Bhosle, under Ilayaraaja's music direction. I am not aware if Suresh Wadkar has recorded any Tamil song for Ilayaraaja.
On a tangential note, IMO, Suresh Wadkar is a gifted singer, underutilized in Hindi films. He has sung several devotional songs for private albums, though. Even the more successful singers like Kumar Sanu admit that technically Suresh Wadkar is the most outstanding singer today.

Listen to 'Sur mayee shaam, is tharaah aaye' from the movie 'Lekin'. Absolutely spell binding and takes you to a different world, sung by Suresh.
Another one 'Yaaraa o... yaaraa' from 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili'

I am not Sriram LakshmaN AV.
