Like why it's so lipsmackingly good? And who really ghost-composed it? Or where did he lift it in its entirety? Things like that. Discuss.

I can only say that in the song 'April Maathathil', the interlude in between the second charanam and reiteration of the pallavi is a straight lift from an interlude from some English song. The other songs also sound lifted.

Even considering lifts, though, I'm still puzzled by the overall level of production-slickness and sample-jugglery that's on display here.
It could be that SJ Suryah composed some if it, as he appears to have a talent in that direction according to Rahman. The scent, for me, is pointing to some savvy musician/engineer who's hiding behind the scenes. Did the cassette inlay have any useful credits, does anyone remember?
There can't be that many talented people out there, we could home in on the right guy if we tried a bit I think. Similarly I wonder who engineered 7GRC, or doesn't Yuvan do the credits declaring thing? (I'm not claiming Yuvan is incapable of doing it himself, of course).
